Specific Job Responsibilities
Act as key client contact
Build and manage strategic PR and marketing programs for clients
Direct client strategy and manage client activity
Develop/maintain strong relationships with key media and other key influencers
Write compelling content for PR materials, including creative pitch plans and unique story angles
Secure consistent and quality media placements
Develop and participate in new business proposal writing and pitches, help secure new business
Work successfully in a fast paced, high-energy environment
Manage and mentor team members and other PR/Marketing resources and partners
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience 4-6 years in public relations/marketing (Must have agency and hotel/travel/tourism experience)
Proven track record of success at Agency or Company
Experience managing other team members such as AE’s, AAE’s, AC’s, interns or freelancers
Superb written and verbal communication skills
Strong network of established media contacts
Strong client management skills
Excellent organizational skills, proactive, and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial, results-oriented environment
Team oriented and ability to take the lead on relevant projects
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and PowerPoint, Cision, etc.
