AC Hotels has launched “The 20-Minute Edit,” a new creator-led campaign giving travelers an insider’s guide to exploring some of the world’s most exciting destinations through the eyes of the people who know them best. Spanning Tokyo, Montréal, Naples, Melbourne, Krakow, Lima, Glasgow, and Portland, ME, each curated itinerary highlights the places actually worth seeking out— from neighborhood restaurants and design-forward shops to local cafés, cultural stops and under-the-radar favorites, all within a 20-minute walk of the respective AC Hotel.
Rather than the typical hotel concierge guide, The 20-Minute Edit taps local tastemakers across food, fashion, design and culture to reveal how they would spend a day in their own city, offering travelers an easy, highly curated way to experience a destination like a local. Among the participating tastemakers are Japanese fashion leader and creative director of CLESSTE Ryo Takashima, who brings his distinct perspective on Tokyo’s style and culture, and Canadian chef and content creator Laurent Dagenais, who shares a food-forward take on Montréal, with additional creators and destination edits rolling out throughout the month.
The campaign builds on one of AC Hotels’ biggest draws for city travelers: placing guests within easy reach of the neighborhoods they came to explore. As Marriott Bonvoy’s “Perfectly Precise” brand, AC Hotels pairs an approachable price point with thoughtful European-inspired design and purposeful spaces with centrally located hotels in destinations around the world.
