Sweetwaters, a 300-seat restaurant from the family-owned hospitality group behind Miami’s Rusty Pelican, has opened in Downtown Fort Lauderdale. Set along the New River, the restaurant pairs a seafood-forward menu with breezy terraces, a lively bar scene, and the warm hospitality the group has cultivated for decades.

Sweetwaters adds a major dining destination to the newly transformed Huizenga Park, where green space, public art, and community programming are reshaping how locals experience the heart of the city.
