Philip Karto, enters a new creative era with Metamorphosis — Capsule 01, a limited-edition collection redefining what luxury upcycling can become.

Since 2018, Philip Karto has challenged the boundaries between luxury, art, and reconstruction. With Metamorphosis, the brand takes that philosophy further, completely dismantling authenticated Louis Vuitton pieces dating from 1980 to 1995 and rebuilding them into entirely new works.

The capsule features the iconic Speedy and Keepall silhouettes, reconstructed with original monogram canvas alongside embossed crocodile leather, custom PK hardware, hand-painted and embroidered details, and meticulously finished interiors. Each piece is individually numbered, with no restocks and no duplication.

The collection is defined by three archetypal symbols—the Snake, Butterfly, and Rose—representing the stages of transformation.

The Snake embodies origin: instinct, temptation, consciousness, and the shedding of what once was.

The Butterfly represents rebirth—identity emerging through a process that is both destructive and beautiful. Rendered in black, it reflects strength, mystery, and powerful femininity.

The Rose represents completion: beauty balanced by contradiction. Delicate yet dangerous, seductive yet untouchable, the black rose becomes a symbol of clarity and fully realized identity.

Together, the symbols form a continuous narrative of origin, transformation, and completion.

Metamorphosis is ultimately about destruction as creation, transformation as identity, and rarity as authorship. In a luxury landscape increasingly defined by repetition, Philip Karto takes a different path—transforming heritage into a foundation for something entirely new.
