The National Ballet of Canada thanks the dance lovers, cultural connoisseurs, and trendsetters who convened for a whimsical journey to a world of imagination and creativity as part of its MAD HOT BALLET: Reverie at the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts.
In attendance were Heated Rivalry star Ksenia Daniela Kharlamova and Olympic medalists Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier.
The generosity from gala attendees, donors, and sponsors was extraordinary. In total, the annual gala raised over $1.1 million that will directly support The National Ballet of Canada's Education and Community Engagement Initiatives to share the magic of dance with children, students, and youth in Toronto and beyond.
"The arts have the power to uplift, transform, and connect us all. Reverie brought us together to celebrate dance and to ensure that more people in our community can access such a wonderful art form. Thank you to everyone who supported a fantastic evening,” said Trish Del Sorbo and Amanda Riva, Gala Committee Co-Chairs.
“CIBC was pleased to be the Lead Sponsor for the 17th MAD HOT BALLET gala event. We take great pride in celebrating and supporting the vibrant cultural life of Toronto because we’re committed to creating a world without limits to ambition,” said Lou Mouaket, Managing Director & Head, Sales Trading, CIBC Capital Markets.
