Uber hosted The One Party by Uber for the first-time ever in NYC to kick off the summer of soccer in NYC at Pier 36.
The exclusive, Uber One members-only party featured a headline performance by BACKSTREET BOYS and a DJ set by Mark Ronson. With New York City energy running high, Mark Ronson and the BACKSTREET BOYS celebrated the Knicks (Este Haim, Andy Cohen, and Grace Gummer even celebrated with a KNICKOLE KIDMAN Knicks shirt inspired by Este’s viral outing with Taylor Swift), while AJ McLean shared personal news that he is making New York City his new home. BACKSTREET BOYS treated attendees to a performance of their new song, "Bottle Up” amongst smash hits “I Want It That Way”, “The Call”, “Shape of my Heart” and more.
Attendees celebrated the evening alongside A-list celebs and pop-culture faves, including Lindsay Lohan, Andy Cohen, Ciara + Russell Wilson, Amy Schumer, Grace Gummer, Kyle Cooke, Malin Akerman, Sophia Bush + Ashlyn Harris, Lukas Gage, Este Haim, Ramona Singer, Erin Lichy, and more.
“We're thrilled to be a part of The One Party by Uber to kick off the summer of soccer. Tonight felt larger than life, and we loved celebrating with New York's finest Uber One members," said BACKSTREET BOYS.
Becky Katz Davis, Head of Consumer Communications and Events at Uber, added, “The One Party by Uber is designed to give Uber One members a front-row seat to the biggest moments of the year. As the summer of soccer kicks off, we’re thrilled to bring The One Party by Uber to NYC for the first time. With unforgettable performances by BACKSTREET BOYS and Mark Ronson, and the energy in the room, the evening showcased the kind of exclusive, once-in-a-lifetime experience that only comes with an Uber One membership.”
On the eve of the first NY/NJ match and ahead of ALDI’s first Manhattan location in Times Square, Uber One members celebrated with game-day favorites from ALDI including meatball sliders, margherita flatbreads, pretzel bites and more. New Yorkers got a taste of the beloved offerings that can be conveniently ordered on Uber Eats for watch parties and beyond.
