The Business of Creativity, part of the Whalar Group, announced the launch of The Business of Creativity podcast, a documentary-style video podcast celebrating iconic founders who have built enduring companies by harnessing creativity as a driver of success.
The podcast premieres June 17, with new episodes dropping weekly on Wednesdays. Season one features 10 of today’s most influential founders and leaders. Guests include the likes of Gary Vaynerchuk, Sir James Dyson, Jane Rosenthal, David Allemann, Trinny Woodall, and many more.
Developed to spotlight the leaders shaping culture and business on a global scale, the series explores how bold ideas, storytelling, and innovation fuel long-term growth and lasting relevance. Through in-depth conversations and cinematic storytelling, the series offers a rare look inside the minds of founders who have successfully transformed creative thinking into competitive advantage.
The first series of the podcast is exclusively sponsored by Amazon Ads Brand Innovation Lab, which empowers brands to think bigger and transform ambitious ideas into one-of-a-kind campaigns across the Amazon creative canvas.
Ben Lee, CEO and Co-Founder of The Business of Creativity, said: “The most enduring companies in the world are built on more than just product or performance; they are built on ideas that move people. This podcast is about unpacking how the world’s most visionary founders use creativity not as an afterthought, but as a fundamental engine for growth, differentiation, and long-term value.”
As the relationship between brand, community, and commerce continues to evolve, creativity has become a foundational pillar of modern business strategy. The Business of Creativity podcast positions itself at the center of this shift, building a reputation as an influential platform for the next generation of leaders looking to drive both cultural and commercial impact.
Sir John Hegarty, Co-Founder of The Business of Creativity, added: “Creativity is the last unfair advantage in business. In a world where everything else can be replicated, fresh thinking is what sets leaders apart. This series shines a light on those who understand that and have built extraordinary companies because of it.”
Kate McCagg, Global Head of Amazon Ads Brand Innovation Lab, said: "The founders in this series are an inspiration to anyone who has ever had a creative idea they believed could turn into something bigger. The brands we work with come to us with ambition just like this, and we have seen over and over that creativity fuels a step change in performance."
Each episode brings viewers inside the journeys of pioneering founders, unpacking the decisions, challenges, and creative breakthroughs that have defined their success. By bridging the worlds of creativity and commerce, the podcast offers both inspiration and practical insight for entrepreneurs, marketers, and business leaders navigating an increasingly competitive and culture-driven landscape.
Gary Vaynerchuk added: “It was a pure honor for me to be part of the Business of Creativity series. Sir John Hegarty is a legend in the advertising world, an industry that I have enjoyed participating in for the last 15 years. Not only is he a legend in the industry from a creative lens, he’s an absolute gentleman, and I wish more people would aspire to be gentlemen.”
