Babbit Bodner, a leading communications consultancy, has been named public relations agency of record for Current, an award-winning outdoor cooking brand recently recognized on Fast Company’s 2026 Most Innovative Companies list. The partnership expands the agency’s food and entertainment portfolio and underscores its ability to deliver integrated, creative communications strategies for brands in emerging and innovation-driven categories.
Founded in 2023 and backed by W.C. Bradley Co., Current is redefining outdoor cooking for modern living. Together, Current and Babbit Bodner will drive awareness of a new category standard—one where performance, design, and sustainability are no longer trade-offs, but expectations.
“As we continue to scale, it was critical to partner with a team that understands how to translate meaningful innovation into compelling, differentiated storytelling. Babbit Bodner brings both the strategic rigor and creative perspective to help us do just that,” said Anna Grant, General Manager of Current. “Innovation in outdoor cooking has long been limited by fire, fuel, and space. At Current, we’ve reimagined the experience entirely—bringing precision, safety, and sustainability through electric technology.”
Babbit Bodner will spearhead communications efforts as Current scales its presence and defines the future of electric grilling. Their role includes: earned media relations, influencer marketing, event management, and strategic counsel.
“Current is redefining what modern grilling looks like, and that kind of category leadership is exactly where Babbit Bodner thrives,” said Jennifer Bodner, Founder and CEO of Babbit Bodner. “As the electric grilling space continues to evolve, our role is to help Current own the conversation. This partnership reflects our continued momentum as an agency and our deep expertise at the intersection of food, entertainment, and innovation. We're excited to support Current at this pivotal moment of growth.”
