LenLen Debuts First-Ever Private Label Wines with Launch of “GoodGood”

LenLen, the acclaimed Thai bar and restaurant inspired by Bangkok’s 1970s shophouses and bustling farmers’ markets by Thailand-born Wanisa Torboonsitikorn and Chef Peter Ki Suk Tondreau, proudly announces its first-ever private label wine launch with GoodGood. The wines were curated by Tim Stuyts, LenLen’s hospitality and wine expert.

A Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend from Bordeaux and a 100% Pinot Noir sourced from Burgundy will be available at LenLen at the beginning of March 2026. They are priced at $16/glass and $64/bottle.

The inaugural release features two wines chosen for their excellent pairing potential with LenLen’s spice-forward fare:

  • GoodGood Sauvignon Blanc - Produced by Château Tassin in Bordeaux, this wine is a blend of 85% Sauvignon Blanc and 15% Sémillon
  • GoodGood Pinot Noir - Produced by Domaine Famille Paquete in Burgundy, made from 100% Pinot Noir

“We want wines that not only stand up to the spice and richness of our dishes, but to also enhance the flavors,” says Chef Peter. “It’s about bringing Thai food and wine together in a way that feels both natural and accessible.”

Extending LenLen’s Vision with a Private Wine Label

With GoodGood, LenLen extends its playful, thoughtful approach beyond the plate, offering wines that invite discovery, connection, and ease. The launch marks an exciting new chapter for the restaurant, one rooted in collaboration, approachability, and a shared love of good food and good wine.

Playful Approachability

The name “GoodGood” emerged from a collaborative brainstorming process as a lighthearted counterpoint to LenLen’s namesake, which translates to “playful.” The wines mirror the joyful energy and approachability at the heart of LenLen’s philosophy.

"Our primary vision was to create a house wine that pairs seamlessly with our cuisine,” says Stuyts. “As a second focus, we wanted to highlight how well wine can complement Thai spices, something that is still relatively unknown. By launching our own private wine label, we aim to showcase this intriguing pairing in a fun and approachable way, while also extending the LenLen brand across our broader portfolio."

GoodGood Tasting Notes

The LenLen team selected Bordeaux and Burgundy for their terroirs and flavor profiles, which best complement the restaurant’s vision and cuisine. Both wines are single-vineyard expressions, vinified entirely in stainless-steel tanks to preserve freshness and clarity. For the initial launch, 3,000 bottles of each wine were produced.

Despite a challenging growing season marked by heatwaves, early harvesting in late August and cooler nighttime temperatures helped maintain balance. The result is wines produced from small, aromatic berries, with bright freshness and concentration. Both wines are dry and light-bodied: the Pinot Noir delivers vibrant cherry notes, while the Sauvignon Blanc/Sémillon blend offers crisp citrus and pear characteristics.

Leading the Thai Cuisine-Wine Pairing Charge

Thanks to its high acidity, the Sauvignon Blanc is recommended alongside LenLen’s spicier dishes, such as the Seafood Po Tai or Market Green Curry. The bright citrus and herbal notes of lime, grapefruit, lemongrass, and green herbs mirror common Thai ingredients and create a natural flavor bridge.

The Pinot Noir pairs well with LenLen’s beloved noodle dishes. Its acidity refreshes the palate and balances rich, savory elements such as coconut milk, fish sauce, and grilled meats.

LenLen plans to expand the GoodGood portfolio in the future, introducing wines from additional producers. The playful design and branding of GoodGood reflect LenLen’s collaborative spirit.
