GO PR is excited to announce its representation of Urban Cowboy Hotels, a portfolio of boutique lifestyle properties that reimagine quintessential Americana, blending rustic luxury, vintage Western motifs, and soulful design with a deeply communal spirit. Across its properties, from Nashville to the Catskills to Denver, the brand layers clawfoot tubs, found antiques, bold wallpapers, and Americana-inspired interiors to create immersive design-forward escapes.
Founders (and husband & wife duo), Lyon Porter and Jersey Banks, began their foray into the hospitality landscape with their Brooklyn townhouse, where their passion for creating a community and “third space” for family and friends accidentally became the first Urban Cowboy Hotel. Over the next decade, the portfolio expanded, weaving a rich tapestry of personal and private projects that include the boutique hotel collection.
The portfolio consists of: the 50-room Urban Cowboy Lodge & Resort in the Catskills, the eight-room Urban Cowboy Nashville, and the 18-room Urban Cowboy Denver. The brand also has a standalone bar concept in downtown Nashville called Urban Cowboy Bar.
Urban Cowboy Bar is entering its newest culinary chapter with New York institution Frankies 925 Spuntino to introduce the signature Italian-American fare in the form of Brooklyn-style pizza to the Western-inspired, design-forward space. On top of this exciting culinary collaboration, Urban Cowboy Nashville is celebrating its 10-year anniversary this May, and the collaboration signals an exciting new era for the brand.
In addition to the boutique hotels, the team founded design studio Cowboy Creative. The design-focused agency offers bespoke services, from concept to creation, and allows Porter and Banks to connect with artisans and help expand their creative visions. The most recent project from the studio is The Ziggurat House, set within East Nashville’s storied Lockeland Springs neighborhood—home to the distinctive “Lil Hollywood” enclave of 1930s Spanish Revival residences that sold at a record-breaking price. To come: thoughtfully designed merchandise and lifestyle offerings that bring the brand’s signature Americana aesthetic back into the guests’ home, perfectly timed with hotel merch becoming the latest fashion trend (Vogue).
