The brand celebrated this exciting expansion with a street takeover in the heart of the meatpacking district, where press, VIPs, and customers could enjoy a matcha, gelato, or macaroon while shopping. Customers were also treated to a shoe-charm bar, where they were able to get creative with customizing their sneakers.

The debut style arrives in a statement metallic silver, selected for its unique ability to function as a neutral while still delivering a directional, fashion-forward edge. Designed with a sleek, slim profile, the Matte Trainer features a premium upper and refined finishing details that elevate even the most understated look. Future colorways may follow, but silver sets the tone - establishing the sneaker as both a wardrobe staple and a standout.

“Finally, athleisure has a sneaker,” says Justina McKee, Founder and Creative Director of Matte Collection. “We’ve engineered the softest sets imaginable; now we’re completing the everyday uniform. The initial drop will be limited, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to a curated, elevated experience, with select retail partnerships to be explored in the future.
