Convene Hospitality Group (CHG) hosted the Ink & Iron Gala, celebrating the grand opening of Convene 555 Broadway with a night featuring an array of creative event activations and programming. 

Creative Event Activations and Programming Included:

• “Rare Edition” cocktail menu inspired by NYC’s speakeasies,
• Bespoke Artistry - handmade gifts,
• Live Performances - open mic style performances,
• Rare Book Experience - a collector’s dream of one-of-a-kind titles curated in partnership with The Strand,
• Editor’s Table - culinary experience with nods to local restaurant hotspots.

Notable Live Artists and Performers Included:

• Adam Dressner, a self-taught American oil painter and former corporate lawyer. Adam created live portraits throughout the evening, including 250 pre-printed portraits in our Grid Studio space. He recently completed a commissioned portrait of David Beckham.
• Alba Musik, GRAMMY-nominated musicians featuring a blend of flamenco with jazz, pop, funk, and Latin to create a bold and contemporary sound. Featuring flamenco dancers Arielle Rosales and Olyda Espinal.
• Daniel Watts, a Tony Award-nominated multidisciplinary artist (Hamilton, In the Heights) and actor (The Marvelous Ms. Maisel) who tells stories through movement, painting, and spoken word, featuring  Divinity Roxx, known in the industry as Beyonce’s musical director and a two-time GRAMMY-nominated artist, world-class bassist, composer, and author.
