Marram, Montauk’s sought-after oceanfront boutique retreat with laid-back luxury at its core, is now officially open for a season centered on the philosophy of ritual. From the rhythm of morning surf to the grounding nature of shared creative expression, the 2026 season is shaped by three guiding pillars: the ritual of discovery, the ritual of comfort, and the ritual of connection. Embracing the growing shift toward slow travel and intentionality, Marram invites guests to slow down and rediscover the meaning in everyday moments through a series of new experiences and brand partnerships.
Nestled on sand dunes and situated directly on the Atlantic Ocean, just steps away from town, Marram is a 96-key resort that has always encouraged guests to slow down and focus on life’s simple pleasures. Defined by evergreen programming such as oceanfront yoga, tarot readings, and evening bonfires with s’mores, Marram continues to foster a deeper connection to place, community, and self. Mostrador, the on-property café helmed by Chef Fernando Trocca, anchors the day’s rituals from morning through sunset with its seasonal dishes and housemade pastries, while the resort’s surf shack – operated by the world-class Engstrom Surf siblings – offers lessons that tie guests to Montauk’s storied surf culture.
Marram’s 2026 season introduces a new wave of immersive experiences: a curated lending program with lifestyle brand Onia; a women-centered surf program with Engstrom Surf and sustainable swim brand Ansea; a Matcha Maker in Residence with heritage-grade purveyor MAKE Matcha; tactile creative workshops with Lindsay Silberman’s Hotel Lobby Candle and a summer collaboration with Montauk General Store. Each partnership is designed to transform everyday moments into meaningful rituals.
This season, guests are invited to experience Marram through the following new offerings:
- The Ritual of Comfort: The Custom Onia Suite
- This July and August, Marram partners with Onia to introduce the Onia Suite, a considered city escape set along Montauk’s shoreline. Within Marram’s bestselling Beachfront Balcony Suite, the collaboration unfolds as an immersive expression of coastal living, shaped by shared ease, simplicity and quiet luxury. Rooted in Onia’s approach to refined, versatile essentials, the experience invites guests to slow into the rhythm of the coast. An in-room lending wardrobe features Cotton Chiffon and Silk Blend Pareos for sun-filled afternoons and post-swim rituals, alongside Linen Knit Tote Bags designed for morning strolls in town and unhurried beach picnics. At its core, the partnership reflects a mutual belief that comfort is not an indulgence, but a practice. Each stay includes a signature linen look from Onia for guests to keep – an extension of the experience at Marram that moves with them, from shoreline to city and back again.
- The Ritual of Discovery: She Swells | A Women-Centered Surf Experience
- Offered throughout the month of June in celebration of International Surf Day on June 20, Marram introduces She Swells, a surf-and-stay experience that honors the property’s legacy as a nostalgic seaside surf haunt through a feminine lens. According to Virtuoso, women now represent 68% of solo travelers, and this program invites female travelers to claim their space in Montauk’s storied waves.
- Created in partnership with Engstrom Surf, women-owned swim and surf brand Ansea, and the Surfrider Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to ocean conservation, the experience includes access to a curated wetsuit lending program and ready-to-wear resort apparel from Ansea, designed for a seamless transition from ocean to evening. Guests who book the experience will receive surf lessons led by the Engstrom team, whose family ties to Montauk span generations.
- Throughout June, the She Swells Fireside Chat Series will host intimate conversations on wave technique, marine conservation, and the evolution of women’s surf culture. As Montauk’s only Surfrider Foundation-certified Ocean Friendly Hotel, Marram will donate a portion of proceeds from each booking to support the organization’s mission to protect the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches.
- By popular demand, Marram is also bringing back its SWAROVSKI OPTIK x Marram Marine Program, an educational coastal experience launched in 2025 that utilizes the brand’s cutting-edge binoculars and stationary ST Vista scope, allowing guests to observe Montauk’s coastal ecosystem with unparalleled clarity while gaining expert-guided insights into the local ecosystem.
- The Ritual of Connection: MAKE Matcha | Matcha Maker in Residence
- Beginning in May, Marram welcomes MAKE Matcha as its Matcha Maker in Residence for the 2026 season, introducing a daily rhythm centered around the Japanese tea tradition. Working with small, independent farms in Japan and guided by a level 10-dan tea master, MAKE brings a deeply intentional approach to matcha, rooted in craftsmanship, patience and respect for process. The residency will debut two new menu offerings at on-property café Mostrador, including the MAKE Matcha Sunrise, a bright, citrus-forward latte, and the MAKE Matcha Sunset, a fresh cocktail, both inspired by Marram’s signature orange. In addition, Matcha Mondays invites guests to extend their morning ritual: those who attend Marram’s morning yoga on Mondays will receive a token for a complimentary matcha post-practice, encouraging a moment of pause and connection.
- Marram’s Everyday Rituals and Creative Workshops
- Expanding its creative workshop offerings, Marram introduces candle painting workshops in partnership with Lindsay Silberman’s hospitality-inspired luxury candle brand, Hotel Lobby Candle. The sensory sessions invite participants to hand-paint candles, creating artisanal keepsakes that carry the scent and memory of their stay. Marram will also be teaming up with local favorite Montauk General Store for a collaboration debuting later this summer, pairing the resort’s barefoot luxury with the shop’s curation of high-quality goods.
“We believe the greatest luxury we can offer our guests is a meaningful connection to the present moment,” said Philip Cham, Director of Hospitality, Bridgeton. “By centering this season around the concept of ritual, we are leaning into the laid-back, soulful essence of Montauk. These partnerships allow us to curate a stay that is both elevated and grounding, transforming daily activities like surfing or morning tea into moments of true discovery at the end of the world.”
