With more than three decades of experience across communications, strategy, and operations, Melanie has guided organizations through periods of growth and transformation. Most recently, as Director of Communications at the Parrish Art Museum, she led institutional messaging across exhibitions, public programs, and development initiatives, aligning communications with broader organizational goals.

Previously, Melanie held senior leadership roles at Roanoke College and spent over 20 years at Edelman in New York, advising global clients and guiding them through complex market dynamics.

As FITZ & CO continues to expand its global reach and deepen its role as a strategic partner across the cultural sector, Melanie’s appointment enhances our ability to deliver thoughtful, forward-looking guidance to clients to advance their ambitions with clarity and purpose.
