Baccarat, the Maison of French art de vivre, is pleased to announce the appointment of Thais Roda as Chief Executive Officer, North America.
In this strategic role, Ms. Thais Roda will lead the development and execution of Baccarat’s business and brand strategy across North America.
Her mandate spans the full breadth of the Maison’s ecosystem in the region — from strengthening the performance and desirability of its crystal collections across boutiques and partner networks, to deepening client engagement, and further enhancing the brand’s visibility and desirability through its broader universe, as expressed through selected partnerships, including emblematic brand expressions such as the Baccarat Hotel New York and the iconic Baccarat Rouge 540.
She will also be responsible for identifying and capturing new strategic growth opportunities to further expand the brand’s reach and influence across the region.
“We are pleased to welcome Thais Roda as CEO, North America. Her extensive knowledge of the luxury and design industries, combined with her strong operational expertise and proven leadership, positions her to drive Baccarat’s ambitions in this key market. Thais brings the discipline, vision, and strategic clarity required to elevate our presence and reinforce the very best of French art de vivre that defines our Maison,” said Laurence Nicolas, Global CEO, Baccarat.
With more than two decades of senior leadership experience in the luxury and design sectors, Thais Roda brings a proven track record in business transformation, operational optimization, and market expansion. Prior to joining Baccarat, she served as CEO of Liaigre Inc., where she successfully restructured operations, strengthened cross-continental synergies, and led a substantial increase in revenue and profitability across the U.S. market.
“I am honored to join Baccarat, a Maison whose heritage, craftsmanship, and creative leadership are recognized worldwide. I look forward to working closely with the teams across the Americas to elevate the client experience, strengthen the brand’s presence, and reinforce the strategic pillars that have made Baccarat an enduring symbol of French luxury," said Thais Roda, CEO, Baccarat North Americas.
