As Coachella 2026 approaches, Neutrogena will return for its fourth consecutive year as the festival’s official suncare sponsor, with an expanded, multi-touchpoint activation across the Coachella Valley. Designed to address sunscreen reapplication throughout the festival journey, the brand’s presence will extend from travel arrival points to the festival grounds, campgrounds, and surrounding cultural hotspots. With more than 250,000 attendees expected across both weekends, the initiative reflects a scaled approach to on-site engagement and product sampling.
Highlights of the activation include:
- Palm Springs Airport Takeover: Neutrogena will activate at Palm Springs Airport with out-of-home placements and a dedicated sampling booth operating Thursday through Monday across both weekends, distributing products to festival-goers upon arrival and departure.
- Coachella Valley SPF Takeover: The brand will implement a full-funnel SPF presence spanning the airport, festival grounds, campgrounds, and community areas. Plans include eight on-site SPF dispensers throughout the Coachella grounds, along with additional sunscreen stations. More than 250 gallons of Beach Defense SPF 70 are expected to be distributed.
- Mass Sampling at Scale: Neutrogena will drive trial of its Ultra Sheer Invisible Gel SPF 40, with approximately 145,000 samples slated for distribution across both weekends.
- Creator Presence: Thirty-one creators are expected to participate during Weekend 1, representing a combined reach of 114.5 million across Instagram and TikTok. The brand will also host a welcome event at Palm Springs Surf Club for approximately 200 guests, including creators, media, and TikTok Shop affiliates.
- Key Festival Integrations: Neutrogena will extend its presence to additional cultural touchpoints, including serving as the official skincare sponsor of the Nylon House after-party, with product integration throughout the experience. Sampling is also planned at AMEX and Aperol stations on the festival grounds.
