Hachette Book Group has announced several promotions across its finance and accounting teams.
Tom Soczek is pleased to announce the promotion of Liana Stillman to Accounts Receivable Supervisor. Stillman joined the company in 2014 in the Claims Department before transitioning to Corporate Finance Services in 2017. She was promoted to Senior Reconciler in 2023 and has since expanded her responsibilities, overseeing key accounts including Indigo, Fair, and the Hachette Speakers Bureau. In her new role, she will supervise two direct reports and support Ebooks and Audio applications as well as the COSMOS ERP implementation.
Patty Russo is pleased to announce the promotion of Jennifer Ha to Senior Finance Director for the Little, Brown division. Ha joined the company three years ago and has served as Finance Director for the division since February 2023. In that role, she has supported a range of financial initiatives and projects while also mentoring financial analysts within the team.
Chris Miceli and Tom Guerin are happy to announce the promotion of Nicole Ostaszewski to Senior Financial Analyst. Ostaszewski joined the company in June 2024 as a Financial Analyst supporting the Basic Books Group, the Running Press Group, and Little, Brown Young Readers after graduating from Pace University. Over the past year, she has also taken on responsibilities supporting Central Finance.
Roy Fagan is pleased to announce the promotion of Kristin Bain to Senior Account Manager, Finance. Bain joined the company in 2019 as a Senior Staff Accountant and played a key role in the transition to the Oracle general ledger system. She currently leads the month-end financial package, oversees financial reporting, and manages royalty advance finance allocations. In her new role, she will expand her responsibilities to include inventory costing and analysis.
Kristin Bain is pleased to announce the promotion of Liz Hydro to Senior Accountant. Hydro joined the company as a Staff Accountant in 2021 and has contributed across a range of responsibilities, including journal entries, invoice processing, account reconciliations, and special projects. She has also recently taken on responsibility for the preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
Jocelyn Machado is pleased to announce the promotion of Kellie Dean to Senior Cost Coordinator. Dean joined the company in 2018 in the accounts payable department and moved to Machado’s team in 2019. Since then, she has supported payment process operations and helped develop training guides to assist teams across the organization in understanding payment protocols and requirements.
