Hachette Book Group announces the appointments of Rachael Marks and Melanie Bedor as Production Managers, strengthening the team’s expertise across children’s publishing and licensed titles.
Rachael Marks joins from Chronicle Books and Abrams Books, where she oversaw production across a wide range of children’s and adult publishing formats, including graphic novels, licensed titles, picture books, activity books, trade and art books, cookbooks, journals, puzzles, games, and stationery. At Hachette, she will focus primarily on Little, Brown Books for Young Readers’ full-color titles, graphic novels, and deluxe editions, while supporting the broader management of the LBYR Production group.
Melanie Bedor brings more than a decade of publishing production experience spanning books, magazines, and promotional products. Most recently at HarperCollins Publishers, she worked across the Dey Street Books trade imprint and HarperPOP, which specializes in licensed pop culture and trend-driven titles. She will now oversee production for Union Square Kids’ expanding licensed publishing program, with a primary focus on Mo Willems Workshop titles.
