“VILLA CLAMART was born from a desire to celebrate the brilliance of African diaspora creatives in art, design, and culture. Inspired by the legendary Nardal sisters and A’Lelia Walker, we aim to reignite cultural exchange in 21st-century Paris, said Patrick Banks, Founder of VILLA CLAMART and THE CALIFORNIEN AGENCY, “[Here], we gather to build connections, champion creativity, and amplify how the diaspora comes together in community.”
Hosted within the Mariane Ibrahim Gallery, the evening’s ambiance was elevated by Ayana V. Jackson's “I Would Follow Her By Ground and Sea”art exhibition. VILLA CLAMART continues to champion the African Diaspora as a dynamic force in global culture, positioning Paris as a vibrant crossroads where heritage meets innovation. This year’s event was enriched through the support of partners: Champagne Laurent-Perrier, wine selections from Wine Week, and curated gifts from Timuntu Concept Store.
