Relevance International, a certified woman-owned premier public relations, brand-building, and digital agency, has announced the addition of two new projects from Taconic Partners, The Urban Empowerment Center and The Ellery, both in Manhattan, and the expansion of services for Tangram, for a project located in Queens, as the agency’s already-robust roster of real estate clients in New York City continues to grow.
“Relevance International’s nuanced understanding of New York City’s complex real estate ecosystem enables us to champion these projects of our long-term client-partners,” said Suzanne Rosnowski, CEO & Founder of Relevance International. “As Taconic Partners and Tangram continue to place their trust in our partnerships, we redouble our focus on showcasing how these projects meet neighborhood needs and fuel the city’s economic development goals.”
Taconic Partners and its joint-venture partners The Prusik Group, L+M Development Partners, and BRP Companies, chose Relevance International as the agency of record to handle public relations for The Urban Empowerment Center at 121 West 125th Street, a game-changing project positioned to be one of the most positive and inspiring commercial real estate and economic development stories in the city.
Led by Relevance International’s New York office, the communication’s strategy seeks to introduce The Urban Empowerment Center to a wider audience and highlight the building’s diversity of uses, its amazing tenants, and its positive impact on the neighborhood in which it is located.
Building on the National Urban League’s headquarters return to Harlem with their office space and civil rights museum in the building, the commercial tenants to date include offices for Studio Museum in Harlem, Virginia Union University, and United Negro College Fund on the building’s 51,000-square foot fifth floor. The Urban Empowerment’s he retail podium through second floor will also serve as a commercial hub for Harlem residents, to date including forthcoming locations from Trader Joe’s, Target, Sephora, and Pandora. The development also includes a 100-percent affordable housing building in conjunction with The New York Foundling’s supportive housing program for youth aging out of foster care.
Relevance International’s New York office has also been tapped by Taconic Partners and its joint-venture partner National Real Estate Advisors with unveiling The Ellery, a new luxury rental residential offering at 312 West 43rd Street in Manhattan. The campaign’s scope encompasses announcing the building’s launch and providing ongoing public relations support, with the ultimate goal of driving leasing at the property.
The project’s newly announced name, The Ellery, evokes a peaceful urban oasis representative of the property’s sense of tranquility and calm across two connected high-rises—32 stories and seven stories—in the heart of New York. The Ellery offers best-in-class residences, expansive views, spa- and hospitality-level amenities, museum-quality art, and the feeling of shedding the bustle of the city when residents return home. The 400,000-square foot, mixed-use development is located at the vibrant confluence of Midtown and Hell’s Kitchen. Designed by Handel Architects, the building will contain 330 rental residences with spacious, sunlit layouts and far-ranging views of Manhattan and the Hudson River.
Finally, Relevance International is again commissioned by F&T Group to handle public relations for Tangram, the vibrant mixed-use development in Flushing, Queens. The campaign’s scope centers on announcing the expansion of the culinary, retail, and entertainment offerings coming to Tangram, and leveraging these offerings to highlight the multifaceted and engaging experience that Tangram provides for all visitors.
With many new tenants joining the bustling complex, Tangram continues to cement its status as a premier destination for food, shopping, and leisure activities. One of the most anticipated additions is the opening of Gatcha, a sprawling 9,000 square-foot arcade, promising an immersive gaming experience for all ages. Additionally, Tangram welcomes Money Cake, Birria Landia, and Mamie’s Yogurt to its array of international vendors at the Food Hall. Adding to the eclectic mix of retail offerings are Miki House, a renowned children’s boutique hailing from Japan, and pop-ups from Pearl River Mart, an iconic NYC institution, and THEILMA, a trendy Korean clothing brand. Rounding out the roster of new tenants is Classover, an after-school tutoring academy, catering to the educational needs of the community.
Earlier in April, Relevance International announced the addition of two new clients, One Grand and Argent Design, and the expansion of scope for a third, Luxury Portfolio International, bolstering its already-robust roster of real estate, design, and luxury lifestyle clients. In April, the agency was also chosen as the agency of record to handle the public relations for Beverly Hills Conference & Visitors Bureau (BHCVB) in the United Kingdom and Ireland, to position Beverly Hills as a relevant and forward-thinking brand while honoring its storied past.
