Charlotte Tilbury to be First Female Founded Brand to Sponsor F1 Academy

Charlotte Tilbury has launched a landmark global partnership, by becoming the first female-founded brand (and beauty brand) to sponsor F1 Academy. Charlotte Tilbury will use its global platform to showcase F1 Academy’s incredible female drivers, helping them build their careers by shining a light on their talent, so that a wider audience can learn about the opportunities the sport can hold for women…and that’s exactly what @roisinkatekelly has done with her inspiring news piece announcing the partnership in this Sunday’s issue of The Times, interviewing both Charlotte and Managing Director of F1 Academy, Susie Wolff.

“We are lacking big female role models, but we’re working on it,” said Wolff. The fan base, however, is increasingly female: 40 percent of fans are women, and the fastest growing demographic is 18-24-year-olds; 80 percent of fans believe women will be racing in F1 within ten years. Women count for one in three visitors to f1.com and almost 30 percent of under 25s following the F1 Instagram are female.”

As an F1 fan myself, it’s been a dream come true to help generate headlines for this incredible partnership. Thank you so much for the brilliant feature, Roisin!
