Jessie Dawes joins Diptyque as Chief Marketing Officer, Americas, a newly created position. Jessie joins Diptyque from Shiseido Americas, where she was most recently Vice President of Integrated Marketing Strategy and Consumer Engagement for Shiseido & Clé de Peau Beauté brands.
At Diptyque, Jessie will oversee Marketing, PR and Communications, Media, Social and Influencer, CRM, Wholesale Visual Merchandising as well as Education and Training in the Americas. In her prior roles at Shiseido, she also held the role of Vice President of Digital Marketing and Media and Executive Director of Media, consulting to all brands in the Shiseido Americas portfolio on their digital marketing and media strategies. Prior to Shiseido, Jessie held global digital marketing and e-Commerce roles at Theory and Helmut Lang. In addition, she led global digital marketing and North America digital media for the Clinique brand at the Estée Lauder Companies.

Jessie is a digital-first marketing executive equally adept at brand and performance marketing. She is skilled in developing brand strategy and deriving data-driven consumer insights, and possesses a strong understanding of complex markets, products, and technologies. Jessie holds a Master’s Degree in Marketing from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Kansas. She has received awards including Best Influencer Campaign and Best Use of TikTok for her team’s Clé de Peau Beauté campaign work from Campaign and The Drum. Her other past awards include Brand Innovators Women to Watch in Brand Marketing, and Brand Innovators 40 Under 40. She is passionate about sustainability and led an initiative in the U.S. market called Shiseido Blue Project focused on driving sustainable beauty actions.
