DESCRIPTION:

The Social Media Intern position supports the needs of our business, including: administrative duties, client support, building and managing influencer outreach lists and creative brainstorming to keep ahead of current trends and what’s happening in our client’s world.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Help organize social media team by updating dropbox/assisting in notes on client calls 
  • Continuously scan dailies/websites to stay abreast of new social media trends etc. that apply to the agency and alert the team accordingly 
  • Maintain and update contact/influencer lists 
  • Provide 30 minutes (at least) of community engagement to each account daily (i.e. responding to general DMs, liking feed posts, engaging with comments, re-posting to posts to stories) 
  • Assist account staff with daily duties of account management and client servicing in a timely and professional manner 
  • Help maintain monthly status reports /and provide weekly account insights at the beginning of each week
  • Support account staff with monthly content calendars by pulling an initial selection of images, constantly auditing assets, supporting shot lists, writing caption copy, scheduling posts into Plannable, posting content/hiding likes/reposting to stories, etc. 
  • Build strong photo editing / short-form video creation skills  
  • Assist with in-person events, whenever help is needed 
  • Maintain LCM standards of professionalism and courtesy 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Design, or Communications preferred
  • Knowledge of Lightroom, Canva, VSCO, Snapseed, Plannable, CapCut
  • Strong interest in social media in the hospitality, travel, wellness & art industries
  • Strong writing/photo editing skills and an ability to think creatively 
  • Must be located in the NYC tri-state area
