  • Attend and lead destination press trips.
  • Finalize event recaps, invite lists, inclusive of media, influencers, tastemakers, etc., dependent on industry.
  • Serve as a partnership lead in all calls, email correspondence, and strategy.

Media Relations:

  • Be an agency resource, leveraging media relationships across teams as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to create news when there is no news for clients.
  • Consistently refine media relations strategy, ensuring the team is delivering smart, on-trend pitches that are translating into opportunities.
  • Mentor junior team members on media relations, walking through list building and pitch writing, and next steps.
  • Leading key media announcements, managing up and down to ensure each news moment is a success.
  • Continue refining mastery of media landscape, landing a mix of digital, broadcast, podcast, newsletter, and more.
  • Draft complex media materials, including press releases, OpEds, LinkedIn content, and more.

Client Communications:

  • Serve as the day-to-day client lead, jumping into timely requests, building relationships with key client team members, and solidifying yourself as a go-to for the account.
  • Demonstrate strong stewardship of client communications by tactfully navigating client requests; serve as an advocate for junior team members.
  • Anticipate client needs, delivering on requests before they’re asked.
