DESCRIPTION:

The purpose of this position is to provide Support of the Bally brand with emphasis on the US Retail/Wholesale market through editorial product placement and press relationships.

- Liaise with local partnerships/charities and organization to promote Bally brand through retail and image events.

- Create Public Relations initiatives to support the retail and wholesale business and increase the brand identity and exposure of the Bally brand that is in line with the Bally strategy. All Marketing and Communications activities will be initiated and approved by HQ in London /Caslano.

Duties and responsibilities (Representative activities) 

Public Relations 

- Liaise with HQ Global PR Manager in order to execute HQ PR guidelines and strategies

- Communicate Bally products/events and brand projects to the press according to HQ inputs

- Manage the increase editorial coverage with an emphasis on quality to include covers and feature price when applicable

- Increase and maintain editor relationships

- Establish and maintain editorial database across all categories

- Monitor press coverage and confirm editorial attendance at seasonal press presentations

- Ensure accountability for seasonal sample collections

- Oversee department personnel and budget including allocation of budget for LSA activities

- Ensure communication strategy is consistent and reflects the brands strategic vision 

VIP

- Source projects for celebrity exposure 

Events   

- Strategize with communications Director with Brand communications on US events.

- Execute events logistics and work closely with all parties involved.

- Liaise with VM for event set-up.Knowledge of local activity calendar and regional events to maximize event exposure and timing within each market.

- Work with Retail to inform them of all upcoming Bally events 

Direct Marketing

- Establish feedback from stores on marketing initiatives versus store sales

- Liaise with HQ Communication dept in finding local initiatives to increase store sales and brand awareness

- Liaise with local partnerships/charities and organizations to promote Bally brand

REQUIREMENTS:

-Liaise with headquarters/Brand Communication for brand strategy/marketing material approval. 

-Maintain strong internal communication with retail/wholesale/store level and visual merchandising as well as finance and HR to provide updates on PR/marketing initiatives. 

-Maintain strong communication with press.  Coordinate appointments for EIC, SR Editors to strengthen and form partnerships with Bally Global PR, CEO and Creative Director. 

-Guarantee an optimum relay of information i.e. debrief, suggest & actively listen. 

-Active in retail store environment, work together closely to establish needs on a store level.
