DESCRIPTION:

Paul Wilmot Communications is looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Public Relations Senior Account Executive to join its thriving Fashion team, which works with both men's and women's fashion, luxury watches, and accessories brands. This position will lead media strategy with a focus on brand launches, features, product placement, executive profiles, strategic brand partnerships, and influencer engagement.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Account Executive role will possess a breadth of experience across men's and women's fashion and accessories clientele with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in this area. This candidate will have a track record of securing comprehensive media results with an established network of media contacts relevant to the client's work, while demonstrating the ability to negotiate and secure features, executive profiles, product placement, event coverage, and more. This candidate will also have superior knowledge of social media platforms, affiliate marketing strategy, and relevant influencers, and possess excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate on a professional level with top-level executives.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Ability to strategize, execute, and manage media relations campaigns across all fashion division clientele, encompassing men's and women's fashion, luxury watches, accessories, luxury lifestyle, and business media.
  • Handle the majority of all pitching for the client – including strategizing on larger-scale editorial opportunities; continually update and monitor status reports to ensure pitching efforts are on track with the support of an AE, JAE, and Assistant.
  • Research potential partnership opportunities and arrange meetings with strategic partners (including, but not limited to, like-minded brand partners, speaking engagement opportunities, panels, summits, etc.).
  • Attend virtual and in-person client meetings equipped with pertinent updates and new ideas.
  • Uphold a strong understanding of social media and influencers and their overall importance to fashion brands.
  • Seek out, coordinate, and handle desk-side appointments and press previews.
  • Event production experience (RSVPs, Run of Show, Photography shot lists, Staffing Plans).
  • Fashion Week and FOH event production experience.
  • A strong understanding of media reporting for a specific brand and its commercial initiatives using Muckrack, Launchmetrics, etc.
  • Contribute to bi-annual PR plans for all fashion clients, including new, buzz-worthy ideas.
  • Support on workflow, deadlines, budgets, and resources (both team and dollars) for selected accounts.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • 5-7 years’ experience required.
  • Established roster of relevant media contacts across trade and consumer press.
  • Demonstrated track record of executing brand and product launches, fashion shows, presentations and previews, pop-ups, retail events, and press trips.
  • Fashion Week and FOH event production experience.
  • Ability to be a team player in an environment that requires and rewards collaboration.
  • BA/BS Required.
  • Ability to implement strategy and has an enthusiasm to present learnings proactively.
  • Knowledge of watches and jewelry, accessories, and the fashion industry is a plus.

The hiring compensation for this position ranges from $70,000-$85,000. The rate of pay offered will depend on the candidate’s relevant skills and experience.
