Position Background

Rise & Set, one of New York's premier experiential marketing agencies, is looking for a strong candidate to become its Senior Account Manager who will execute a variety of high-profile projects for some of the world's most renowned brands.  

Role and Responsibilities

Summary: Must be able to manage a mix of projects and have a solid understanding of how to service and liaise with clients in the luxury sector (Watches, Jewelry, Automobile, Non-Profit Galas, Investor Conferences, Travel Destination Management, Red Carpet Movie Premieres, etc).

  • Assist with overseeing Rise & Set's relationship with select clients.
  • Maintain relationships with vendors as well as reach out to new potential vendors.
  • Liaise between clients and vendors to accurately execute current and future needs.
  • Create and manage assigned budgets.
  • Create and manage Profit & Loss statements pertaining to events.
  • Create and manage run of shows leading up to the event.
  • Post-event reconciliation (thank you notes to clients/vendors, financial wrap-ups, invoicing, collecting payments, paying vendors, etc.).
  • Designating certain team members' responsibilities as well as supervising these team members at the office and on-site.
  • Monitor a project's schedule from planning to fruition.
  • Attend all relevant meetings/phone conference calls/site visits.
  • Create staffing lists for all projects.
  • Manage all on-site staff and oversee freelance workers (if applicable).
  • Oversee projects from conception to completion.
  • Constantly troubleshoot, stay organized, and multitask.
  • Assist with new business meetings as needed.
  • Communicate daily with the Event Director for various elements and provide necessary updates.
  • Work between the Creative Director and the client for all décor needs and send relevant information to vendors.
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum of +5 years of client service experience.
  • Strong event and agency background.
  • Team player with the ability to work in an intimate environment.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude.
  • Flexible to travel on a quarterly basis (if not more).
  • Be able to multitask and work on a variety of projects at once.
  • Background and interest in working with luxury brands/clientele.
  • Strong understanding of Excel.
