Social Media Manager and Content Strategist| KCMCONNECT | Los Angeles 

About the Role:

KCMCONNECT is seeking a Social Media Manager / Content Strategist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll take ownership of multiple client social media accounts across beauty, wellness, lifestyle, and founder-led brands, managing everything from strategy and content creation to analytics and community engagement. 

You’ll work closely with our leadership team and clients to plan, create, and execute organic social campaigns that feel intentional, elevated, and culturally relevant. Our work lives at the intersection of storytelling, aesthetics, and strategy, and we’re looking for someone who knows how to bring brands to life in a way that feels both aspirational and human.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute organic social media strategies across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
  • Create, edit, and publish high-quality content (graphics, short-form video, carousels, Reels) aligned with each brand’s voice, goals, and visual identity
  • Write compelling captions, hooks, and scripts that translate brand stories, wellness concepts, and founder narratives into engaging, shareable content
  • Manage content calendars, posting schedules, analytics tracking, and performance reporting
  • Collaborate closely with clients and the internal team on content planning, approvals, and creative direction
  • Support community management as needed (comments, DMs, engagement)
  • Stay on top of platform trends, new formats, and cultural moments, and proactively identify growth opportunities
  • Take initiative in refining workflows, improving processes, and contributing creative ideas across accounts
REQUIREMENTS:

Requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in social media management, marketing, or communications
  • Comfortable owning strategy and managing multiple accounts with minimal hand-holding
  • Portfolio or examples showcasing content creation, design, and/or video skills
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into clear, relatable messaging
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Thrive in a small, fast-moving agency environment
  • Passion for storytelling and working with founder-led, mission-driven brands
