The Position
We are is looking for a passionate and driven Senior Account Executive to join our energetic and collaborative team at Ciao Studio to help grow its New York footprint and office! This role is perfect for a PR pro eager to learn, grow, and make an impact alongside the founder and managing director. As a Senior Account Executive, you'll take the lead in managing client relationships, crafting and executing innovative PR strategies, and building meaningful, long-lasting connections with media, clients, and key stakeholders. Responsibilities
- You will lead daily client relations, plan and execute day-to-day project deliverables, support and lead client teams, and conceptualize strategies, pitches, and media placements.
- This person will work closely with client leads and internal staff, delegating to peers and junior staff, and develop and advance strategy with senior leaders.
- This is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in honing their communications skills across real estate, hospitality, and lifestyle clients, and who can work directly with senior executives at these firms to plan and implement holistic communications strategies.
- As part of the Real Estate and Hospitality vertical, you will be encouraged to take the lead on client initiatives and work, and help further grow the practice area.
- The team is in the office 2 times per week.
- As a Senior Account Executive, you will work in collaboration with the lead of partnerships to develop and execute partnerships to support and complement all PR efforts.
- Develop and implement strategy and campaign planning for multiple high-profile client accounts.
- Manage clients daily.
- Engage with key reporters and editors.
- Use your knowledge of the media landscape to develop creative, interesting opportunities to promote clients and generate earned media coverage.
- Write and edit persuasive external and internal documents such as press releases, op-eds, fact sheets, talking points, editorial board memos, and communications plans.
- Draft and develop content that can be leveraged for both earned media and owned-channels, including LinkedIn, Instagram, and other online platforms.
- Participate in business development opportunities.
- Manage internal client teams and mentor junior staff (when appropriate).
- Located in New York City
- BA or BS in a related field
- A minimum of 3-4 years of strategic communications experience.
- Experience in media relations and an interest in PR for clients in real estate, hospitality, lifestyle, and executive thought leadership is a plus.
- Outstanding project management skills, with the ability to prioritize work streams and track progress across multiple teams.
- Ability to multitask, handle multiple projects at once, work quickly, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Demonstrated relationships with reporters and strong news sense.
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with varying levels of staff, clients, the media, etc.
- Ability to work with a team to meet group objectives.
- Confident communications skills to support direct client communications via phone, email, video call, and in-person meetings.
- A positive attitude and willingness to experiment with new tactics or platforms that support client objectives.
- Proficient in AP style.
- Proficiency using Muckrack, Google Analytics, Microsoft applications, news wire services, and server applications such as SharePoint is a plus.

- We regularly review and adjust our compensation structure as needed to ensure equity across teams and levels.
- Salary range (commensurate with experience and skills).
- Generous paid time off (PTO) 2 weeks (10 days) paid vacation (1 week eligible after 3 months of employment, additional week eligible after 6 months of employment). Pursuant to Ciao Studio’s current policy, you will accrue your sick and personal days on a pro-rated basis. 5 paid sick/personal days. Collective PTO between Christmas and New Year’s Day, plus 11 holidays.
