As a Senior Account Manager at 1Milk2Sugars, you will play a leadership role in managing key client relationships, driving business growth, and providing strategic direction to the account management team. You will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable results for our clients.
JOB TASKS + RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead strategic planning and develop long-term client strategies to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, maintaining regular communication and building strong relationships.
- Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Drive new business development efforts, including identifying opportunities, pitching to prospective clients, and negotiating contracts.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to all associates (managers, executives and coordinators), fostering their professional development and growth.
- Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing insights with clients and internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including creative, digital, and PR teams, to develop innovative solutions that meet client objectives.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing strategic recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Ensure client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service delivery and proactive communication.
- Prepare thoughtful client reports: monthly, quarterly and campaign recaps with attention to insights and strong analytical data.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight for contract negotiations and preparations, leveraging deep industry knowledge and experience.
- Lead negotiations with clients on complex or high-value contracts, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the agency while maintaining strong client relationships.
- Collaborates closely with finance to address any legal or contractual issues and mitigate risks associated with contract agreements.
- Review and submit all MSA/agreements, SOWs, and contracts prepared by Account Teams, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on contract matters, providing guidance and support to the account management team and other stakeholders as needed.
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally as required by client and business needs.
- Must be available to support events or projects that may occur outside of regular business hours.
- Physical ability to lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs. is an essential part of the role.
- Perform other research and administrative tasks as assigned.

Education & Mandatory Skills
- Bachelor's degree/certificate in Communications, Public Relations or other related specialties preferred
- Minimum 7 years working experience in public relations (agency experience is a must) working with beauty, fashion or lifestyle clients with a demonstrated track record of success in managing key client relationships and driving business growth.
- Experience working on beauty brands is required.
- Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to develop and execute integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.
- Deep understanding of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Proficiency with Mac systems, as well as Office software (Word, PowerPoint & Excel)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
