MIRANDA AGEE NEW YORK is seeking a New York-based Social Media Associate who’s not just fluent in Instagram but someone who’s ready to build and grow a brand from the ground up. This is a freelance role for a highly creative, style-savvy storyteller with a strategic mind and a strong aesthetic sensibility.

You’ll work directly with the founder of a luxury and high-end PR and branding agency to shape our social presence and expand our voice across platforms. We're looking for someone who arrives with ideas, initiative, and a strong point of view—not just someone to post, but someone to help lead.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute content ideas across Instagram, TikTok, and beyond—including Reels, stories, posts, and branded visuals
• Propose strategies to grow audience, engagement, and visibility across platformsAttend photo shoots, industry events, and client happenings to generate live content
• Ensure brand consistency across all platforms while keeping things fresh, stylish, and engaging
• Conduct light research and provide occasional assistant support to the CEO

Requirements:

• Based in NYC with a flexible schedule—able to attend events, shoots, and in-person moments when needed
• Equipped with strong visual instincts and a current sense of style, culture, and design
• Comfortable working independently and proactively with minimal direction Fluent in tools like Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, or other design/video platforms
• Eager to be part of building something—someone who thinks like a brand strategist as much as a content creator Interested in a long-term freelance role with room to grow
