PULSE Contemporary Art Fair kicked off its 13th Miami Edition led by the fair's new director Katelijne De Backer, with their annual Young Collectors Cocktails celebration. Drawing in a crowd of young artists, international collectors and fashion notables for a night of live performance and beachside specialty cocktails provided by Absolut Elyx and Johnny Walker. This special evening previewed performances by select PULSE PROJECT artists began with a piece by Aya Rodriguez-Izumi's Wish, an interactive installation which encourages visitors to write down their wishes reflecting on the past year. Japanese artist Yoshi Itu’ drew crowds with a live painting showcase in collaboration with VANS sneakers, creating custom one-of-a-kind wearable pieces.
