Bank of America Private Bank kicked off their time at Miami Art Week with a series of events celebrating its deep ties to the arts. The bank is one of the largest corporate supporters globally of art and culture and is embarking on its second year of partnership with Artadia. This nonprofit awards grants to emerging artists working in communities across the U.S. like the Brooklyn-based artist Amanda Phingbodhipakkiya. Her latest site-specific installation at The Ritz-Carlton, South Beach, was fêted at a soirée co-hosted by the hotel and the Private Bank.

Other events included the Private Bank’s annual celebration at the Rubell Museum with longtime partners, Don and Mera Rubell. Guests enjoyed Rubell’s incredible contemporary art collection, along with insightful discussions around the challenges and opportunities of multi-generational art collecting with the family. The evening featured food from Hollywood favorite, Jon & Vinny’s, who just opened their first East Coast restaurant in the museum.

The celebration continued at the Private Bank’s Collectors Dinner, hosted at the Miami location of legendary New York restaurant Rao’s, where the bank toasted to continuing support for Artadia along with Phingbodhipakkiya, the first Bank of America Artadia Awardee, an impressive roster of contemporary artists, the bank’s unparalleled Art Services team, and some of the most notable collectors in town for the event.

Business and pleasure were never far from one another throughout the busy week of activities as Bank of America Private Bank honored their extensive partnerships with art collectors, artists, nonprofits, museums, family offices, and others that keep the arts ecosystem thriving in South Florida and beyond.
