Swarovski, the CFDA, and Parsons School of Fashion hosted a conversation in celebration of this year’s CFDA Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent nominees, moderated by Swarovski Award for Positive Change honoree Kenneth Cole. The panel included Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent nominees Laura Vassar Brock and Kristopher Brock of Brock Collection, Gabriela Hearst, Sander Lak of Sies Marjan, and Fernando Garcia of Monse. An audience of over 300 design students, industry influencers, and members of the local fashion community were in attendance.  

Additionally, following the talk Swarovski and the CFDA hosted an exclusive cocktail party at Omar’s La Ranita to celebrate the 2017 CFDA Fashion Awards Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent nominees. Guests in attendance included Lena Hardt, Steven Kolb, Leigh Lezark, Fern Mallis, Rebecca Minkoff, Roopal Patel, Ellen Von Unwerth and more.   The winner of the 2017 CFDA Swarovski Award for Emerging Talent will be announced on Monday, June 5th at the 2017 CFDA Awards in New York City.
