Fabiola Beracasa Beckman, Bettina Prentice, and Carolyn Tate Angel and the International Rescue Committee hosted a special Preview Screening of The Zookeeper’s Wife at the Soho House. The Zookeeper’s Wife tells the harrowing, true story of Antonina (played by Jessica Chastain) and Jan Żabińska who helped over 300 Jews escape the Warsaw Ghetto by sheltering them in their home at the Warsaw Zoo. Representatives from the IRC were in attendance, as was a refugee from Afghanistan telling her own story, which mirrors that of the film. To learn more, go to: https://www.rescue.org
