Hamptons tastemaker and CEO and Publisher of East End Taste, Vanessa Gordon, hosted a luncheon at the Maidstone Hotel to celebrate the partnership between LDV Hospitality and East End Taste.
Guests were treated to an open bar, featuring signature cocktails crafted with the Whispering Angel rosé, Great Jones Distillery bourbon, and LALO Spirits tequila. One of the favorite cocktails of the afternoon was the East End Paloma, crafted with LALO tequila, cucumber water, lime, dry curacao, and ginger beer. The cocktail menu was crafted by Giacomo Ellena, Director of Bars for LDV Hospitality.
The luncheon menu, developed by The Maidstone Hotel, featured summer favorites such as the Yellowtail Crudi, Grilled Peaches, Cacio e Pepe Cappellacci, and Branzino, just to name a few. Dishes were executed by Chef Jorge Espinoza.
As part of the tablescape, guests were gifted hand-selected jewelry pieces by Sara Shala Design, and custom candles by TAJA Collection.
The tablescape was a beautiful collaboration between Floral Spell and Adriana Castro. Floral Spell helmed the florals and overall event decor whilst Adriana Castro set the table with her signature dinnerware pieces. Adriana Castro also curated an interactive experience where guests were able to design their own custom rattan fans.
Decco By Party Up graciously supplied the lounge setup as well as the loveseat and rug nestled within the hedges for the perfect photo-op, among other details.
Vanessa Gordon is famous for her loaded, luxurious gift bags, and at this event, guests received her signature VIP treatment as a parting gift. Inside each gift bag featured products from brands including Ghurka, LWA Luxury Hampton, Motif Made, Dylan’s Candy Bar, Alexis Isabel, Daniel Corpuz Chocolatier, Montaraz, and Quantum Yachts, with a total retail value of over $1,000.
Additional parting gifts included biscotti and ground coffee from North Fork based Aldo’s Coffee Company as well as signature custom cookies by Long Island based bakery, Cookie Kneads.
