On Monday, June 6, the CFDA held their 2016 Fashion Awards at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, NY. The CFDA Fashion Awards recognize the outstanding contributions made to American fashion by individuals from all areas of the industry and related arts, with awards being given for design excellence in womenswear, menswear, and accessories as well as extraordinary accomplishments in journalism, creative vision, and lifetime achievement. The event was hosted by Joel McHale, honoring the likes of Beyoncé, the late David Bowie, Marc Jacobs, Thom Brown, and Mansur Gavriel, among others.
