Byredo recently hosted a cocktail event to celebrate the opening of a flagship store situated in South Coast Plaza, the iconic luxury retail and lifestyle destination. This marks the brand’s 6th store in California and signals an important step in its fast-expanding retail footprint across America.

Located between Costa Mesa and Orange County, Byredo’s new store in South Coast Plaza reflects the clean minimalism that defines the brand’s visual lexicon. Opening up from an expansive glass front, the light bright space is framed by a black façade and sculpture displays that showcase the diverse offerings within Byredo’s universe.

Reflecting Ben Gorham’s affinity for traditional woodwork, cherry wood panels segment the space with their calming presence, a nod to his beloved forests growing up in Canada and Sweden. In a signature play on contrasts, industrial accents such as aluminium-framed cabinets juxtapose against natural elements such as artisanal terrazzo and raw stone to offer intriguing propositions.

The store will carry the full range of Byredo perfume, home fragrance makeup and body care products along with select Byproduct.
