In advance of the upcoming Sketch to Screen Costume Design Panel at UCLA on February, 27, Nadja Swarovski hosted a cocktail reception in Los Angeles to celebrate the 2016 Oscar nominees for Best Costume Design. Costumes from film, television, theater and music were displayed, including the Swarovski crystal slipper and blue ball gown from Cinderella, the Swarovski crystal embellished glove from “American Horror Story: Hotel,” and a performance look created with crystals from Swarovski for Madonna’s “Rebel Heart” tour. Guests enjoyed a specialty drink menu inspired by the nominated costume designers’ films and viewed jewelry pieces from the Atelier Swarovski Spring/Summer 2016 collection.
