- To celebrate its first Global Brand Ambassador, Lupita Nyong’o, along with the debut of its new “Where It Begins” advertising campaign, in which she stars, De Beers hosted a cocktail party and lavish dinner for New York’s best and brightest from the worlds of fashion, the arts and entertainment. Marc Jacheet, CEO of De Beers Brands, and Céline Assimon, CEO of De Beers Jewellers, welcomed guests with an immersive 360 video presentation of the new De Beers global advertising campaign, followed by a surprise musical performance by five-time Grammy Award nominee Chlöe.
