The renowned couturier, Guo Pei, celebrated her debut collection with The Rug Company in their San Francisco showroom on the evening of October 13th following the collection's launch on October 10th. Inspired by traditional Chinese motifs and handwoven in lustrous layers of silk, a couture piece by Guo Pei found harmony with the Empress Gold rug beneath it. 

The Opulent Nature collection features seven rugs and two cushions in Pei's signature, intricate embroidery reinterpreting evocative tokens and motifs with dynamic movement. The Rug Company toasted the new collection alongside Mayer Rus of Architectural Digest, Lisa Lovely of Luxe Interiors + Design, as well as Studio Munroe, Studio Heimat, Navarra Design, and Staprans Design.
