Bhindi Jewelers, the third-generation family-owned jeweler, celebrated the opening of its new location at The Americana at Brand in Glendale on September 9. The evening welcomed longtime clients, friends, media, and members of Los Angeles’ entertainment, fashion, and cultural communities to celebrate the Bhindi family’s new milestone. Notable guests in attendance included Mario Lopez, Huma Qureshi, Nick Tershay, Tamanna Roashan, Roselyn Sanchez, Eric Winter, Dave Park, Lindsay Brewer, Gayana Khachikian, Cole Walliser and more.
Throughout the celebration, attendees explored Bhindi’s approximately 9,500-square-foot location, designed by Studio Tonic as a contemporary “Timepiece Haven” inspired by the atmosphere and hospitality of luxury resorts. Warm European oak, natural stone, bronze-toned finishes, and layered textures define the space, while dedicated watch environments, jewelry presentation areas, intimate lounges, and private VIP rooms create distinct settings for discovery and connection.
The evening began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Bhindi family, alongside Rick Caruso, Founder and Executive Chairman of Caruso, the developer and owner of The Americana at Brand; Ardy Kassakhian, Mayor of Glendale; and Robert William, Chief of Police of the Glendale Police Department. Guests were welcomed with champagne before moving through the store to discover selections from Bhindi’s jewelry and timepiece collections, including Rolex, Cartier, Tudor, Bvlgari, Jaeger-LeCoultre, Grand Seiko, Gerald Charles, Zenith, Laurent Ferrier and TAG Heuer. The experience offered a closer look at Bhindi’s offering, from its longstanding expertise in diamonds and custom jewelry to its curated selection of leading watch maisons.
Hospitality played a central role throughout the celebration, offering a glimpse into the experience Bhindi has envisioned for its new home at The Americana at Brand. Guests enjoyed champagne, signature cocktails, and culinary offerings alongside live performances and entertainment as they moved throughout the store, exploring the jewelry and watch displays, lounge areas, and hospitality spaces. Designed to encourage clients to linger and explore, the hospitality-forward environment extends beyond the celebration as an integral part of Bhindi’s approach to personalized luxury retail.
“This opening represents much more than a new store—it is the next chapter of a family business built on relationships across generations,” said Ashwin Bhindi, Chief Marketing Officer of Bhindi Jewelers. “Celebrating this milestone surrounded by clients, friends, and partners who have been part of our journey made the evening especially meaningful. We look forward to welcoming both longtime and new clients into our new home at The Americana.”
The grand opening marks an important milestone in Bhindi's longstanding presence in Glendale, following the relocation of its longtime location at the Glendale Galleria to The Americana at Brand. While the new location offers a more expansive environment for Bhindi's growing fine jewelry and timepiece collections, the experience remains rooted in the relationships, personalized service, and hospitality that have defined the family business across generations.
