The Lower Eastside Girls Club (LESGC) celebrated its Spring Fling Annual Gala at the Angel Orensanz Foundation. The evening, which was centered around the theme of reclaiming joy, honored Aurora James, Jessica Cruel, and Latham Thomas. The festive event raised over $1 million for the organization’s mission of amplifying the inner power of young women and gender-expansive youth in New York City. 

The evening, which included a cocktail hour and seated dinner, was attended by a cross-section of New York City’s Fashion, Art, Film, Business, and Philanthropy worlds. Lower Eastside Girls Club Co-Executive Directors, Jenny Dembrow and Ebonie Simpson, were joined by the LESGC Board of Directors, Host Committee members Patricia Field and Meredith Melling, event Host, Carmen Rita Wong, and special guests including Daphne Rubin-Vega, Councilwoman Carlina Rivera, Katy Tur & Tony Dokoupil, Molly Jong-Fast, New York State Assembly Member Harvey Epstein, and more.
