Bazooka Brands hosted a candy pop-up in downtown Salt Lake City as part of The Great Candy Battle: MomTok Edition with Jessi Draper and Mayci Neeley.

2,000+ fans turned out to experience the brand pop-up with over 50,000+ pieces of candy moved in a single afternoon, and a line that never broke for an exclusive Dirty Sour Soda collab with local favorite Swig. MomTok stars Jessi Draper and Mayci Neeley were on-site face-to-face for the first time since kicking off their month-long sales showdown, with Hulu filming the activation as part of its ongoing coverage of the MomTok world.

Bazooka is meeting today's audience where the culture already is. Rather than run a traditional influencer campaign, the brand tapped into MomTok's built-in rivalry format by letting creator drama double as a sales mechanic. The SLC turnout, plus a regional collab that made the stop feel native, shows the format travels well beyond a single media market.

SLC is the second stop in The Great Candy Battle: MomTok Edition, a month-long showdown pitting Jessi (Ring Pop + Push Pop) against Mayci (Juicy Drop + Baby Bottle Pop) for bragging rights and a charity donation tied to August sales lift. It kicked off with a full day across NYC — a Times Square showdown under Great Candy Battle billboards, a Push Pop mascot subway takeover, and a Union Square "Baby Bottle Pop Service" pop-up. Under CMO Dave Dreyer, the campaign is part of a broader shift from "candy culture" to "pop culture" for the legacy brand.
