Sushi by Bou East Village welcomed guests for an intimate Summer Kick-Off Event and Karaoke party at the East Village rock-themed speakeasy omakase bar. The celebration brought together an eclectic crowd for an energetic night of Karaoke, cocktails, mingling, music, and signature sushi offerings presented by their talented omakase chefs, in the heart of the East Village.
Guests enjoyed an assortment of Sushi by Bou signature nigiri platters featuring Hamachi (yellowtail), Akami (Lean Tuna), Bincho (Albacore), and Sake (Salmon) showcasing the restaurant’s elevated take on classic Japanese flavors.
Complementing the culinary experience was a selection of highlighted signature cocktails, including the Yuzu Honey Bees, Shiso Southsider, and Sake to Me, alongside house sake served throughout the evening.
The venue’s vibrant atmosphere, accented by neon-lit interiors and lively karaoke entertainment, created the perfect nostalgic backdrop for kicking off the summer season, with guests still high off the energy from Knicks finals Game 4. With a limited capacity and intimate setting, attendees were able to connect, indulge, and experience the unique energy that has made Sushi by Bou East Village a standout destination in New York City hospitality and an inviting destination that patrons love spending hours at, often into the late evening.
Sushi By Bou East Village is located at 320 E 11th St, New York, NY 10003, disguised by the “Bouprint Vintage” printed awning. At the center of the experience remains the brand’s signature omakase. Patrons, in groups of 14 at a time, are guided through chef-curated 12-course tastings featuring sustainably sourced seafood, seasonal specialties, imported fish, and indulgent upgrades, including Wagyu, caviar, foie gras, bone marrow, and truffle, depending on the selected omakase menu course.
