Rachel Zoe partnered with essie to host an intimate dinner at Duke’s at Sunset Tower Hotel in West Hollywood in celebration of “Color With a Reputation”—a tribute to the essie shades that have transcended trends to become enduring beauty staples.

Joined by tastemakers including Kathy Hilton, Rocky Barnes, Hannah Godwin, Shae Scott, Christina Kirkman, and Catie Li, guests gathered for a beauty and lifestyle-forward evening centered on the emotional power of color and its influence on personal style across generations.

The evening unfolded inside a fully immersive Ballet Slippers–inspired setting, with the iconic soft pink woven throughout the décor as a nod to the cult-favorite shade that continues to define essie’s legacy of color authority.

Zoe arrived in a head-to-toe monochrome look inspired by Ballet Slippers, essie’s cult-favorite pale pink shade that has become a beauty icon in its own right, complete with a coordinating Frosted Ballet Slippers manicure, with essie’s Gilded Galaxy layered over Ballet Slippers for a modern, sparkly twist.

For Zoe, whose relationship with essie dates back to weekly salon visits with her mother and sister, the dinner marked a natural extension of her role as essie’s first-ever Chief Color Director and her role in the larger Color With A Reputation campaign—championing how color shapes beauty, fashion, and culture through the brand’s most iconic shades.
