Sant Ambroeus welcomed a curated group of the New York creative community, tastemakers, and friends of the brand to its Soho location in celebration of its 90th anniversary during Frieze New York. The event saw the unveiling of an artist collaboration with Tess Ramirez, who had taken over the restaurant’s iconic plate wall.
Notable attendees included Gaetano Guarducci, Tess Ramirez, Tish Weinstock, Angelica Hicks, Adam Eli, Jia Jia Fei, Olympia Gayot, Laura Kim, Serena Goh, Chris Black, Kristina O’Neill, and Magnus Berger.
The iconic plate wall has been transformed into a visual journey of the brand’s storied history. Iconic elements such as the princess cake, paninetti, coffee cup, to restaurant locations, including West Village and Southampton, came to life through a series of illustrations by Tess Ramirez, which will be available to view throughout the rest of the year.
Following the kickoff during Salone del Mobile, the Frieze cocktail is a part of a year-long program of partnerships and cultural activations that bring Sant Ambroeus’ history, community, and Milanese spirit to life.
Over delicious bites and drinks, including a new rendition of the princess cake in burgundy and a special anniversary cocktail, Milano 36, guests came together to celebrate the milestone.
