Barbour kicked off New York City Tartan Week with an exclusive high tea experience at Tea & Sympathy, bringing together A-list celebrities, influencers, and industry leaders.
Guests included Leslie Bibb, Martha Stewart, Madeline Brewer, James Austin Johnson, Isabela Ferrer, Anastasia Gerrans, Jonathan Kirby, Simon Goldman, Taylor Reed, Ethan Glenn, and more.
In celebration of New York City Tartan Week, Barbour partnered with beloved British tea shop Tea & Sympathy to bring New York the ultimate tartan-inspired British experience, as well as unveil their SS26 Tartan collection, which is a celebration of kinship, heritage, and modern British style.
Open to the public Thursday, April 9 through April 14th, guests are invited to step into an immersive takeover of both the restaurant and adjoining specialty shop, thoughtfully incorporating elements of Barbour’s Dress Tartan, brand campaign, and family heritage throughout the façade, interior displays, and overall guest experience. The collaboration will feature exclusive Barbour x Tea & Sympathy items available only during the event, blending classic British style with the charm of one of New York’s most iconic British establishments.
The SS26 Tartan Collection is a head-to-toe menswear and womenswear wardrobe featuring the brand’s authentic family tartans across clothing, outerwear, accessories, and footwear. It was shot in the Scottish glens and mountains and reflects the landscapes and family heritage that have shaped the brand over the years. This new seasonal evolution of classic designs introduces new tartans, refined tailoring and lighter layers for spring and summer.
