Salvatore Ferragamo, grandson of the iconic Italian designer, presented the wines of Il Borro and Pinino during an exclusive dinner at Ai Fiori, the acclaimed French and Italian Riviera restaurant from the Altamarea Group, at The Langham, New York, Fifth Avenue.
Notable attendees included Founder & CEO of Altamarea Group Ahmass Fakahany, CMO of Altamarea Group Kayla Bolyai, Salvatore Ferragamo (II), his wife Christine Ferragamo, writer Carson Griffith, and more.
The evening welcomed an intimate group of media and tastemakers for a one-night-only dinner hosted by Ferragamo, celebrating the synergy of the exceptional wines from the Ferragamo family estates in Tuscany and award-winning Chef Rose Noel’s French and Italian Riviera–inspired cuisine.
Guests enjoyed a seasonal four-course menu including Passera e Caviale with Atlantic fluke, American sturgeon caviar, creme fraiche, and Meyer lemon; Epaulettes with veal breast and reblochon ravioli, hazelnuts, and black truffle; New York Strip Steak with charred tokyo turnip, potato pave, and salsa verde; and Crostata with almond frangipane, strawberry salted honey cream, and candied kumquat; thoughtfully paired with selections from Il Borro and Pinino, including the celebrated Brunello di Montalcino. The dinner offered attendees a rare opportunity to experience the depth, heritage, and craftsmanship behind these storied Tuscan wines.
Salvatore introduced each wine throughout the dinner, highlighting the Ferragamo family’s dedication to terroir-driven, sustainable winemaking, while Chef Rose guided guests through the menu, creating an immersive journey through the wines and cuisine of Italy.
