Fashion designer Christian Siriano celebrated his NYFW February 2026 collection with an intimate dinner immediately following his runway show, at the new Chelsea hotspot, the cocktail-driven restaurant and lounge, The Eighth. Notable guests at the exclusive, celebratory dinner to kick off NYFW included front row talent and featured models from the show such as Natasha Lyonne, Taylor Momsen, Leslie Jones, Monica, Willa Ford, Coco Rocha, Candice Huffine, Anna Schilling, artist Ashley Longshore, Richie Romero, Ali Lasky, Sergio Farias, and more, joined by venue owner Valmira Gashi. Drawing inspiration from the collection, jewel tones, chain accents, and other adornments were reflected in the dinner ambiance.
Siriano's attendees enjoyed menu signatures such as Jerk Honey Wings, Short Rib, Wild Rice Arancini, Wagyu Sliders, Shrimp Toast, Scallop Crudo, and a variety of house-made delicious offerings by Chef Kat Williams. Guests were greeted by carefully curated cocktails by Evelyn Atheris, such as the "Rambutan Rose" lychee martini and Christian's favorite drink of choice, an The Eighth espresso martini.
The evening was capped off by a toast to Christian led by both his mother, who was in attendance at the dinner with his family, and Siriano's longtime friend, collaborator, and model muse, Coco Rocha.
The Eighth, Chelsea’s newest concept, is a cocktail-driven restaurant rooted in atmosphere, ritual, and emotional resonance. Conceived as a space outside ordinary time, it offers an alternative to the speed, spectacle, and trend-chasing that dominate much of New York’s nightlife. The experience is meant to be intentionally slow and layered—designed to be felt rather than immediately understood. With design at the core of its conceptualization, The Eighth is the brainchild of award-winning New York interior designers Julien Legeard and Valmira Gashi of Legeard Studio, in collaboration with seasoned hospitality veteran Richie Romero.
Inspired by Chelsea’s evolving and often overwritten history, The Eighth’s mission is not to attempt to recreate a specific era, but the opposite. Instead, it draws from the absence of history — the moments, stories, and emotions that have slipped through the cracks. The result is a space that feels familiar yet elusive, intimate yet transportive. Patrons are invited to linger, return, and build their own relationship with the venue over time.
The Eighth Officially Opens its Doors this February 2026 — A Collaborative Concept Between Renowned Designer Legeard Studio and Hospitality Leader Richie Romero.
